GOLF COURSES

There are no golf courses located in Long Lake or Raquette Lake.  However, the Town is happy to promote the courses from the nearby communities for those who play golf.  The courses that we show below are those that are closest to the two hamlets but there are even more courses only a few miles further away.

 The High Peaks Golf Course is located on Santanoni Drive just off Route 28N in Newcomb. It is a challenging 33 par municipal 9 -hole course. The course has four sets of tees for all ages, 4 par 4, 4 par 3, 1 par 5. This course features beautiful fairways with spectacular views of the High Peaks, elevated sloping greens, creatively placed bunkers and natural hazards. It is fully irrigated. This magnificent course is very reasonably priced with greens fees $12.00 for 9 holes, $18.00 for 18 holes, and carts fees of $10.00 per 9 holes of play.

Daily fees: $13 for nine and $20 for eighteen
Junior Fee (for children through 12) $8 for nine, $12 for eighteen

Amenities include driving range, rental equipment, lessons, riding carts and restaurant.

Wakely Lodge Golf Course

Surrounded by mountains, these fairways are scenic and enjoyable to walk, but challenging to play. This public 9-hole course has well manicured greens with a brook running through that frequently requires a shot to get over.
The Inlet Golf Club is an 18 hole championship resort golf course adjacent to Sixth Lake, in the Town of Inlet. The golf course has a long tradition, and has been totally renovated to provide visitors with a superb layout and well manicured conditions.

The golf club is family owned and the entire staff is dedicated to making certain your visit to our course will inspire you to want to return. The Inlet Golf Club offers a distinctive, fully stocked pro shop and quality food and beverages at “Mulligan's.”

Green Fees are for daily use and are the same no matter how many holes you play.

The rolling terrain makes for a number of uphill and downhill lies and offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and lakes. Traps and bunkers are strategically placed for the long ball hitter and consist of both sand and grass. Mid-September to mid-October play is especially beautiful as fall colors contrast with the surrounding lakes and emerald color greens. 6169 yards
