sludge with little fear of legal consequences or bad press. Air
pollution was commonly accepted as the smell of prosperity.
Environment was a word
that appeared more often in spelling bees than on the evening news.

The Town of Long Lake hosts The 17th Annual Spring Blossom
Fiddle Jam at the town hall. Join Donnie Perkins and the Perkins Family
Band for a knee slapping-tow tapping afternoon! Admission is $6 for
adults, $2 for ages 11-16 and under 10 is free. The Long Lake Ladies
Fire Department Auxiliary will be serving food from 12:00noon until
4:00pm.
